  • Prioritize spending on essential services and programs.

  • Eliminate waste and inefficiency.

  • Develop long-term strategies to manage the budget and address future financial challenges.  

  • Promote policies that support sustainable economic growth and stability.

  • Maintain reserve funds and operate within budget.

  • Engage with the community to make sure their needs and priorities are reflected in spending decisions.

  • Foster a sense of belonging and participation for all Batavians.

  • Ensure public safety.

  • Encourage the development of infrastructure to promote connectivity between different areas.
